Allan B&ouml;hm, MD, PhD, MBA, FESC, FJCS works at the Department of Acute Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Bratislava; teaches at the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava and studies clinical research at Oxford University. His research interests are acute cardiology, thromboses, arrhythmias, digital health, and artificial intelligence. In 2015, he founded Premedix Academy. In 2017, he was at the birth of the Digital health committee under the European Society of Cardiology. In 2020, he became board member of the European Society of Cardiology. In 2021, he founded Premedix Clinic.

Allan Böhm, MD, MSc, PhD, MBA, FESC, FJCS

Branislav Bezak, MD, PhD works as a resident at the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Bratislava, Slovakia and he is presently pursuing a PhD in Surgical Medicine. Dr. Bezak is interested in both basic and clinical research. Currently, he works on several scientific projects with colleagues from different medical fields, including work on machine learning and the use of AI in medicine and development of prediction models; telemedicine as well as mechanical circulatory support.

Branislav Bezak, MD, PhD

Nikola Jajcay received his BSc degree in General Physics and MSc degree in Atmospheric Physics from Charles University, Prague. He was awarded a PhD for his dissertation on Spatial and temporal scales of atmospheric dynamics at the Institute of Computer Science, CAS, Prague. Dr. Jajcay was a postdoctoral researcher at ICS, CAS and at NI TU Berlin where he worked on biophysically realistic population brain models. His research interests include computational neuroscience, causality in complex systems, biostatistics, data science &amp; Bayesian approaches.

Nikola Jajcay, PhD

Imrich graduated in Applied Mathematics at University of Cambridge and worked on development of ML models for disease prediction using epigenetics at the University of Edinburgh. After returning to Slovakia, Imrich joined the public sector as a data scientist, where he gained expertise in utilization of nation-wide health records to advance public healthcare. In addition to his professional work, Imrich is committed to education and mentorship in the scientific community, organizing coding workshops for PhD students and teaching data handling skills. His research interests include electronic health records, causal inference, epidemiology and high-dimensional data analysis.

Imrich Berta, MPhil

Marta graduated in Biomedical Physics at the faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University in Bratislava. During her PhD studies in Normal and Pathological Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava, she was mainly focused on biomarkers in cardiovascular diseases. During her research stay at the Universit&auml;tsmedizin Mainz in Germany, she dealt with the impact of noise on the cardiovascular system. Her interests are still cardiovascular diseases &ndash; diagnosis, prevention, and prediction based on the latest knowledge.

Marta Kollárová, MSc, PhD

Ljuba Bacharova, MD, DSc, MBA is internationally recognized scientific professional, the executive editor of the Journal of Electrocardiology and an editorial board member of several international scientific journals. She was the president of the International Society for Electrocardiology and later also the secretary. In addition to lecturing at the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava and the Slovak Medical University, she has been organizing The IRIS summer schools around the globe. IRIS summer schools are focused on development of knowledge and skills, which are necessary for the preparation of scientific projects and scientific publications.

Ljuba Bacharova, MD, DSc, MBA

Peter Michalek, MD, PhD works as a Deputy Head of the Department of Acute Cardiology, General Cardiology and Arrhythmology at CINRE Cardiocentre in Bratislava. He is an author and co-author of several foreign publications and is a member of the Forum of Young Cardiologists&nbsp; Committee of the Slovak Society of Cardiology. He has participated in as an investigator in several clinical trials and his primary research areas include sudden cardiac death, coronary heart disease, heart failure and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging.
